Applicable clinical and record-keeping requirements under the National Medical Commission regulations and the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020, where teleconsultation is offered.
By using this website or sharing information with us, you agree to the collection and use of information in line with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or share your information with us.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
Contact details: name, phone number, email address, city and address.
Health information (“sensitive personal data”): symptoms, medical and family history, diagnosis, imaging and pathology reports, treatment and surgical history, medication, and other clinical information shared by you or by referring doctors/labs.
Demographic details: age, gender, and, where required for treatment or billing, identity or insurance documents.
Payment information: billing details and transaction records for consultations or services (card/UPI/bank details themselves are processed directly by our payment gateway and are not stored by us).
Account information: if the website offers patient login/registration, your login ID and password (stored in encrypted form).
Communication records: appointment requests, enquiries, and messages exchanged with our team by phone, email or WhatsApp.
Technical/usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and cookie data, collected automatically when you browse the website.
We collect only what is reasonably necessary to provide safe, effective care and to operate the website.
3. How We Collect Information
We collect information when you:
Fill out an appointment or enquiry form on the website;
Speak with Dr Ramu Damuluri or our clinical/front-office staff, in person, by phone, WhatsApp or video consultation;

Undergo consultation, diagnostic tests, or treatment with us, or when reports are shared with us by other providers with your consent;

Casual visitors who browse the website without submitting any form or personal detail are not required to identify themselves, though limited technical data (such as IP address) may still be collected automatically.

Send general health awareness content or updates about our services only where you have opted in to receive them — you may opt out at any time;
Comply with applicable law, medical council requirements, court orders, or lawful requests from regulators or law-enforcement authorities;
Detect, investigate and prevent fraud, misuse of our systems, or threats to patient safety;
Improve the website and our services, including through anonymised/aggregated analysis that cannot identify you individually.

Because health data is sensitive personal data, we seek specific consent where required, particularly before sharing your records with any party not directly involved in your care.
If you are submitting information on behalf of a minor, a dependant, or another individual, you confirm you are authorised to do so and have their consent where required.
6. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We treat your information as confidential. We may share it only in the following circumstances:
With doctors, nurses, technicians and administrative staff directly involved in your care, on a need-to-know basis;
With laboratories, diagnostic centres, hospitals, pharmacies, radiologists or other specialists to whom you are referred, or whose input is required for your treatment;
With your insurer or Third-Party Administrator (TPA), where you request assistance with a claim;
With technology and service providers who support our appointment booking, hosting, communication, or payment systems, under confidentiality obligations, and only to the extent needed to provide their service;
Where required or permitted by law — for example, in response to a court order, a request from a regulator, or a public health reporting obligation;
In connection with a restructuring, sale, or transfer of the practice, provided the receiving party is bound to protect your information similarly;
With any other party, only with your specific consent.
We do not disclose your identity or medical information to family members, employers, or any other party without your consent, except where permitted or required by law (for example, in a medical emergency where you are unable to consent, or where disclosure is necessary to protect your safety or that of others).
7. International Data Storage
Some of our technology service providers (for example, cloud hosting or appointment software) may store data on servers located outside India. Where this occurs, we take reasonable contractual and technical steps to ensure your information continues to receive an appropriate level of protection, consistent with applicable Indian law.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We encourage you to keep any login credentials confidential and to avoid sending highly sensitive information over unsecured channels such as public WhatsApp groups or unencrypted email where possible.
In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will take reasonable steps to contain it, assess the impact, and notify you and the relevant authorities as required under applicable law.
10. Retention of Information
We retain your personal information, including medical records, for as long as necessary to provide your care and thereafter for the period required under applicable medical record-keeping regulations and other Indian laws (medical records are generally retained for a minimum period as prescribed by National Medical Commission regulations; certain records, such as those relating to minors or medico-legal cases, may be retained longer). After the applicable retention period, information may be securely deleted or anonymised.
11. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law (including rights that apply once the DPDP Act’s provisions take effect for us), you may:
Access the personal information we hold about you;
Correct inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information;
Withdraw consent for particular uses of your information (this will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal, and we may be unable to continue certain services, or may still need to retain records required by law);

Opt out of promotional or awareness communications at any time;
Nominate another individual to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity, where such a mechanism is available;
Raise a grievance regarding the handling of your information (see Section 14).

Where care is provided to a minor patient, information is collected and processed with the consent of, and in coordination with, the minor’s parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for managing consent and communication with us on the minor’s behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors visiting the website independently without such parental or guardian involvement.
